Northern Nevada is blessed to have forward-thinking law enforcement that tries hard to tackle mental illness through diversion instead of incarceration or hospitalization. Led by the Reno Police Department and funded by the Nevada Legislature, the MOST (Mobile Outreach Safety Team) program helps citizens connect with mental health support instead of being sent to jail or the ER.
